Since the launch of the
Océanis 50 last December, Bénéteau have
continued to update the Océanis range with the
Océanis 46 in September 2006. In what is
seens as a bid to try to slow the 1000 units
sold and still rising march of the Jeanneau Sun
Odyssey 40.3, Bénéteau hope to emulate the
success of it's rival. Despite the poor quality
images shown, Oceanis is the name given to
Bénéteau's luxury cruising range as opposed to
it's Cyclades models which are more designed
around sailing families on a budget. These two
stylish Oceanis models have hulls and decks
designed by the Berret-Racoupeau design office
and an interior created by Nauta Design to try
to give some elegance and style.
