The new Grand Soleil 46.3, designed by J&J
Design and built by Cantiere del Pardo in Italy,
could very easily be confused with the latest
Nautor project. I would guess that this is not
by accident. The 46.3 is promoted as a pure
cruising yacht, but the aesthetic approach is
directly out of the Swan school of wedge-deck
configurations. That's okay. Swan doesn't own
that look; it just makes it a styling staple.
Any tricks you can do with the deck of a yacht
to make it look svelte will usually enhance the
sheerline and improve the looks of the boat.
The Grand Soleil 46,3 is presented as an
elegant, fast modern cruising yacht with
excellent characteristics of sekindliness,
safety, comfort, superior internal volume,
layout and sailing performance. The yachts are
equipped with LCD TV, DVD, CD player,
aircondition, generator, bowthruster, webasto
heating, hydraulic autopilot, B&G instruments,
cockpit table, fully batten main sail, bimini,
sprayhood and more. |
