|
French boat builder Jeanneau has introduced its
first new sailboat model for 2008 — the 13.8m
(45ft)
Sun Odyssey 45 DS.
With an offshore performance hull and modern
interior designed by Philippe Briand, and deck
saloon styling by Vittorio Garroni, the new
yacht is available in two versions — a two-cabin
compartment with two heads, or a three-cabin
compartment, also with two heads. It has twin
helm steering with primary winches placed close
to helm stations, a spacious cockpit with three
separate areas for steering, dining and
lounging, and fractional, twin spreader rig with
furling genoa and mainsail standard.
The new sailboat will be presented in a special
preview at the upcoming 2007 Cannes,
Southampton, La Rochelle and Genoa boat shows.
